Approach

From a very long tradition of practical therapy research – much longer and more convoluted than generally recognised. And a national crisis.

My approach is from my life, my degrees and research, my family. As a child, I had a speech and language delay, as did one of my children. This led me to linguistics. So I have a linguistic way of looking at things. And I try to define my therapy goals on what a child can say, not on what he or she can't say.
